Springfield 1903 barrel markings

The 1903A3 is an improved version of the 1903 rifle that was introduced in 1942. The most significant change was the switch to a receiver bridge-mounted rear aperture sight. This Smith Corona 03A3 was made during WWII. The rifle has nice Smith Corona markings on the receiver & barrel. These markings add to the rifle’s history.
